Have you ever dreamed of visiting another country without actually leaving
Philadelphia? At Aromatic House of Kabob you can do just that. From the moment
you enter through the handmade entrance of this Persian restaurant you enter into a world of authentic persian cuisine and ambience. The restaurant displays handmade paintings of the persian culture along the wall and an opened kitchen so that you can savor the aroma from the kabobs. All of the food is organic, prepared with Hallall meat and cooked to order. This is a healthy way to eat as well as enjoyable.
The food is prepared like our ancestors prepared it 100 years ago. Helen Mojgani,
the owner, has been in the restaurant business for 15 years. In 2003, she decided that Philadelphia needed a comfortable, affordable authentic persian restaurant and opened Aromatic House of Kabob. Helen visits the market every morning to pick the freshest meats and vegetables to serve in her restaurant that day. She has familiar foods like hummus and kabob, cooked over an open flame, as well as traditionial dishes. Her traditional dishes are prepared each morning by the grandmother who prepares a different one each day. All of the kabobs are served with a choice of balsamic rice
( this rice takes 2 hours to prepare to create that flavorable tastes), garden sald or baked potato filled with spinach, mushrooms and feta cheese.
In addition to our variety of entrees, we are famous for our Hookah bar which is a
water pipe filled with fuity flavor tobacco ( orange, melon, cappuccino, apple, mint, coconut, peach, apricot, grape). In Iran, people enjoy this after a delicious meal or
you can just come in, relax and take some stress off. At Aromatic House of Kabob we want you to feel like part of the family. If you would enjoy some spirits with your dinner or Hooka, you are welcomed to bring them with you as we are an BYOB restaurant.
Finally, end your experience with some persian tea which is black tea with cardomme.
If you prefer coffee, we serve all types of exotic coffees and smoothies. We gurantee that your visit will be comfortable and enjoyable. When you leave you will feel like you just traveled to Iran and had dinner with our mom.
Aromatic House of Kabob does not stop at just serving lunch and dinner but we will cater for that special occasion or office party. You can choose the entrees from our menu or request that some traditionals food be prepared. You plan your menu and we will prepare and deliver.
